What's most eerie is how familiar the song-snippets and their order were to me.

Freedom Rock is really long overdue for the deluxe remastered reissue treatment. Dare we hope for bonus tracks?

Serious question: are Seals & Crofts due for a critical upgrade? I mean, *I*'ve never heard any of their deep traxx, and I find their singles less than fetid. Any S&C fans out there? I just don't think they'd be as godawful as, say, Bread. Am I wrong?

Hasn't Bread already had a critical upgrade?

Seals & Crofts are ineligible for a Critical Upgrade based on that guy's hat alone. There are many fine hats in rock, but that's not one of them.

Speaking of hats: Did we have the best rock hat discussion or was that a poll? I remember a lot of fanfare for Nesmith's cap but did Slash get a mention? That dude totally reanimated a long deceased style of headwear and it became synonymous with his Look to the point that people didn't recognize him without it. It's even on his Vodka which is the sole Slash nod on the bottle.

F*&K a Seals & Crofts upgrade - I'm waiting for a Dan Fogelberg/Tim Weisberg upgrade. They had much better facial hair the S&C!
