OK guys, when you do something wrong you gotta make it right.

I just got off the phone with Rickey Medlocke. He was smart (well, for a rock dude anyway), funny and keenly aware of the unique position that the reconstituted Skynyrd plays in the history of rock. I liked him, and I take back what I wrote about him in my Skynyrd memoir of a coupla weeks ago.

INFURIATING TEXT-WRAP BULLSHIT PROVES ANTI-BILL GATES CONSPIRACY IN BACK OFFICE

Folks: I just bought me a MacBook Pro to take over where the studio-bound G5 left off in my house -- and the PC laptop I've been using to do the RTH thing is also heading into the new studio. I discovered today that there are *no* textwrap bleed-over problems when one posts into RTH using Apple's Safari browser. Just so you know.

Breaking political news:

Hillary Clinton has announced that her campaign theme song will be "You and I," a song written by Aldo Nova and performed by Celine Dion that was originally written and recorded for an Air Canada ad campaign.

Obama and Edwards supporters rejoice.

FIRST TIME HERE? Rock Town Hall is a place to discuss - and debate - self-important topics in the world of rock 'n roll as we know it, love it, and hate it. Overlooked gems, overrated albums, and sideburns are always open for discussion. Lurk and enjoy the show, or better yet REGISTER and play along. The only requirement is that you love the Rock. The USER'S GUIDE, has the low down on how to jump in. Your knowledge level is unimportant. In the mix of truth tellers, true believers, wiseacres, blowhards, and plainspoken rock fans, whatever nerdiness, earnestness, silliness, and passion you bring to the table will find a place. If you get lost, you can always click the Rock Town Hall banner at the top to return to the MAIN STAGE.
