i've been rooting since the denny doyle era ('72). i wonder how many losses i've endured?
i don't think any was worse than black friday, talk about a MONUMENTAL FLAMEOUT.
even though we had lefty going the next night (in the POURING rain), it all seemed academic after greg luzinski tried to trap manny mota's VERY catchable fly ball against the left field wall on black friday. i think everybody felt we'd lose.
losing games to the dodgers reminds me of this.
