He had a ton of cool bands on when hardly anyone else would. And MAN I wish I had seen this Clash tour.

I added the PiL clip this morning, after Gerry posted the initial Clash clip. Good Townspeople, ALWAYS click that "More" link when you see it. For instance, in today's Thrifty Music piece you'll find 3 more groovy 25-cent songs and commentary.

Lydon's smile at the end of that clip is hilarious. Snyder obviously had no idea what to do with him (does anyone really?).
The Clash clip sent a jolt through me that no amount of Red Bull could ever hope to. Love seeing Topper on drums - great!
There's also a good clip from when Snyder had KISS on - Ace is obviously sh*tfaced and it's fun watching Gene squirm as Ace takes over the interview - and Snyder appears to be having a ball.
Good times.
