I had forgotten about Elvis switching to Radio Radio on SNL. Wikipedia has the extra bit that I didn't know but seems like a gag that only RTH-types would have gotten. Anyone see it?

I do remember seeing that. The Beastie Boys made a very fine backing band for EC, too, if I recall.

There are certain people here who will be both thrilled and jealous to know that tonight I saw Peter Wolf do an impromptu lead vocal on "I Do" with the doo-wop group that was playing one stage of the Feast of St. Anthony.
