Man, if I weren't going to the record store I think I'd drive around and listen to Alex all day. Swampsnake is one of the greatest things to ever happen.

"Punk/blokeist work ethic" = good.
"Natural front man charisma" = good.
There are lots of bands -- faves of mine -- that have one or two of these characteristics in unusual abundance. But I have to say that the SAHB, in their prime, really had all three things in embarassing quantity. Interestingly enough, I think Bon Scott-era AC/DC also had all three categories workin' big-time.
