Does anyone else remember this scene with a mix of fondness and horror? Musicians, do you recall your own Terry and The Idiots moment?

It's a clip from the UK punk film, DOA, which has its occasional moments of "Join Together"-like "live" performance brilliance by real punk bands of the late-70s (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sjgegpohe4k). However, the scenes I've always remembered best are those involving Terry, a punk rock idiot with aspirations for starting his own band. Wonder what happened to poor Terry...
