I've been periodically intrigued by the Books, finding various mp3's popping up on music blogs, along with notices of their performances at highbrow spaces such as MOMA. Which album did you pick up?

Another recommendation in the instrumental field that you might like is the Clogs, which from the few things I've heard is more like a folky version of the Penguin Cafe Orchestra with Steve Reich tendencies. I only have one record of theirs, a mainly strings-based affair, but quite enjoy it.

I picked up the one pictured, The Lemon of Pink. Actually, I didn't pick up the whole thing just yet but downloaded what seemed like the most instrumental tracks from what I'd sampled on eMusic. I'll probably go back and get the other half of the album. I'll definitely check out the Clogs based on that description. Thanks!
