The Jesus and Mary Chain Rock the Legacy Shades Look!

I'm posting this simply because I like them and I think this version of the song is actually preferable to the album version, but also in order that you all can see just about the best example I've ever seen of what Mr. Mod named the "Legacy Shades" Look. What do you all think?

Definitely working the legacy shades there. Thanks, Townsman Berlyant! I was relieved to see that Letterman's band didn't feel the need to also don shades with JAMC. That would have been as geeky as I expected them to be.

Is that a CD long box Dave is holding!
Yes! I forgot that they still made them in '92 (when that performance was taped). The only CD I've ever bought in a long box, incidentally, was Joe Jackson's Laughter and Lust. I bought it in 1996, though it had clearly been sitting in that store's JJ section since 1991, when it was released. I got rid of the long box, though.
