I just read the L.A. Times article and there were some interesting people, beyond the obvious ones, that followed the Maharishi.

We all know about The Beatles, Mike Love, Donovan (that must've been funny), Mia Farrow (and sister Prudence.) But I didn't know about some of these: Merv Griffin, Shirley MacLaine, Joe Namath, David Lynch, Deepak Chopra and my favorite: Doug Henning.

It's funny how the "falling out" reported in the article you link to only mentions his disappointment with the Beatles crew doing drugs. Didn't some of the Beatles have a falling out with him because he was hitting on every woman in their traveling party?

Beside George Harrison and Mike Love, has any rocker been satisfied with his TM/Guru studies?

Don't forget me!

It's a long story, but for some reason unknown to me, my very conservative parents got into TM in the 70's for a short time and got us involved too. I never really meditated completely, I was only 13 for god's sake, but I was very into the Beatles at the time, so I thoght it was really cool.

Hey, don't forget that Howard Stern is a TM practitioner.

I never forget your TM stage, A-Dogg. You were the first 13-year-old in the Philly area to wear a robe and an 8-inch long beard. Classic!

Howard Stern doesn't rock, so he does not go on the short list of satisfied TM-practicing rockers.
