Yes, I actually stopped to wonder how many readers were looking at their monitors going, "Uhm..." A unique post. I am a big Zappa fan, and wasn't just passed by by it, as by some posts that center on people with whom I'm unfamiliar, or for whom I can't generate interest. But the Carvey/Zappa joke (non-joke?) and the whole thing. It's grey and drizzly here, and it seemed like the last push I needed to achieve total momentary inertia. Thanks again, RTH!
Since this thread seems to be a trove of non-sequitur, anyone else here big fans of Bruce Bickford? Anyone seen the documentary 'Monster Road' of his?
I had to whip out baby snakes & dub room to re=view the FZ clip in full stair-ee-oo re=visionism and got sucked back into Bickford world for nigh on an hour...
I think the whole world would be a much different place now if Bickford had been animating the Gumby show back in the day...

Rock Town Hall is a place to discuss - and debate - self-important topics in the world of rock 'n roll as we know it, love it, and hate it. Overlooked gems, overrated albums, and sideburns are always open for discussion.
Lurk and enjoy the show, or better yet REGISTER
and play along. The only requirement is that you love the Rock.
The USER'S GUIDE, has the low down on how to jump in.
Your knowledge level is unimportant. In the mix of truth tellers, true believers, wiseacres, blowhards, and plainspoken rock fans, whatever nerdiness, earnestness, silliness, and passion you bring to the table will find a place.
If you get lost, you can always click the Rock Town Hall banner at the top to return to the MAIN STAGE.
