In an effort to pay our respects to deceased Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band member Danny Federici, whose chugging keyboard parts probably added more down-to-earth fun than anyone else on the supposedly party music of The Boss, I instead came across the following, puzzling performances and an even more puzzling clip from god knows where. We'll miss you, Danny.

Pretty weird to see Bruce gyrating around on "hungry heart", which always struck me as a pretty *serious*
song.

And it is one of Danny's shining moments. My old lady's uncle was one of the engineers at Sigma...says Danny was a prince of a man.

First Danny, then Johnny Marz found at the bottom of the stairs of his home, dead. Weird.

Remember, they come in threes...who's next?

Yeah, the Marzano death will hit home in Philadelphia. I found out about it at today's game. (John Marzano was a South Philly born and bred, Temple University grad, who was a first-round pick of the Red Sox. He spent 10 years with the Bosox, the Mariners, the Rangers, and maybe someone else as a backup catcher, then returned home to launch a career as a highly popular local baseball analyst and all-around good guy.)

Tough loss today, although a highly entertaining, professional game, excepting Ryan Madson's 7th inning appearance.

Man, that's some serious White Guy Dancin'. Always liked that song, though.

Yes, I too like "Hungry Heart". The Boss's legacy is based on his epic songs, but I much prefer his humble ditties about wanting to love and be loved.
