Sounds of the Hall in roughly 33 1/3 minutes!

This week’s early edition of Saturday Night Shut-In, our weekly turntable chat and podcast, is episode 100! For the occasion, Mr. Moderator puts aside his multiple extracurricular activities of late and delivers a playlist and thoughts that reflect exactly where he is at this moment, man: sexy and spiritual! Enjoy, and stay tuned for future episodes from your fellow Townspeople.

  1. Bravo, Mod!

Doing a Shut In is like the tree in the forest kind of thing: you don’t know if you’ve just wasted your time, until someone comments.

And, I must say, I’ve been similarly unabashed about JT.

“..clutching (the) Kabbalah in one hand and a dildo in the other”. Bravo indeed Mr. Mod.
I ain’t go no quarrel with the Madonna song.

I’m finally using the new player and listening to some shows, and it’s really cool. Thanks for all the effort everyone has put into these!

  4. I’m reading Keef’s autobiography (actually listening to audiobook in the car – 20 discs!) So the first notes hit me right betweent the earballs, really smooth! Nice job Mr. M.

I have an Al Kaline (incredible lumber but thin handle – might not like it) and a Johnny Bench signature – big fat thing that I could part with if you needs a replacement. I’m thinkin the ‘Rusty Staub’ is the one that you’d like best if my brother hadn’t used it to hit rocks across the tracks…

  5. Hey, I’m back from a long weekend away. I will be in touch about that JB Manstick. I remember that mighty model! Thx.

    I agree with cliff.
This is yet another example of the level of rock critique that we here at RTH come to expect and love from this site.
