Draft order will be determined according to how close each GM came to guessing Mr. Moderator&#8217;s <strong>predetermined number<\/strong>, which presently resides in a sealed envelope. The time and date for the draft will be scheduled for later this week.<\/p>\n<p>After the entries and proposed configurations for bands are tabulated, a list of rock talent &#8211; <strong>dead and alive<\/strong> &#8211; that has declared for the draft will be released. This list will form the <strong>Talent Pool<\/strong> available for drafting through the 5 rounds.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nAlong with musicians drafted from the Talent Pool, each GM will be allowed 2 <strong>Supplemental Free-Agent<\/strong> selections. These picks are optional and may be used at any time in the drafting process. Should a GM exercise his or her free-agent pick, that band&#8217;s <em>next two selections<\/em> in the standard draft rounds will be forfeited. For example, Team A elects to sign a Supplemental Free-Agent musician outside the declared Talent Pool following the first round. That band will then forfeit its selections in the second and third rounds, not choosing again until the fourth round. <\/p>\n<p>Draft picks and draft order may be <strong>traded<\/strong>. How exactly GMs will work out these deals will be sorted out on the fly. All trades must be approved by the GMs involved.<\/p>\n<p>Horn sections, string sections, backup singers, and other add-ons may be drafted as a unit, using only 1 draft pick.<\/p>\n<p>Bands requiring less than 5 musicians are nevertheless required to draft in each round.
