Today, however, I read about <em>Monstrance<\/em>, an improvised collaboration with Partridge, former XTC organist (and Shreikback leader) Barry Andrews, and a former Shreikback drummer. You can read an interview with Partridge <a href=\"http:\/\/byneddiejingo.blogspot.com\/2007\/04\/tinny-little-sputnik.html\" title=\"http:\/\/byneddiejingo.blogspot.com\/2007\/04\/tinny-little-sputnik.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, and sample a track from the album <a href=\"http:\/\/apehouse.prevuz.com\/2007\/03\/12\/monstrance\/\" title=\"http:\/\/apehouse.prevuz.com\/2007\/03\/12\/monstrance\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. The one track for sampling reminds me of the mellower bits of Miles Davis <em>Bitches Brew<\/em>-era stuff.
