Why do they need permission? Does anyone understand the rules on that?
In general I agree with doing anything that can be done to undermine these ‘talent’ shows on TV. Since this is TMZ there may only be a tiny grain of truth in this story anyway.
You’re probably all aware of this because I think I hear first but “Ladies and Gentlemen, the Rolling Stones” is in the theaters for one show only today at 7:30.
I was listening to Nick Lowe’s “I Love the Sound Of Breaking Glass” today and thought: “that sure sounds like Bruce Thomas and Steve Nieve backing Nick Lowe up.”
You were aware of this song being on the first album, weren’t you, HVB? Yes, that may be my least-favorite recording by one of my favorite bands, even worse than “Sacrificial Bonfire” and other turds over the course of their career.
Last night at a birthday dinner for my wife I learned the meaning of ladymisskirroyale’s handle! I had no idea kir royale was a drink. One of our friends ordered it, and then my wife had it too. She loved it. I don’t drink, but it sounded like something I’d quickly want seconds of if I did.
As much as I dislike Rush’s music, I gotta give Geddy Lee credit where credit is due. He apparently plugs directly into the board so he doesn’t need amps. To balance out the visuals on stage, he’s had washing machines and a chicken rotisserie. Scroll about halfway down.
Lou Reed, as his music was meant to…uh…

Man, that’s being a dick by even Lou’s standards!
I hope our opponents’ brand-spanking-new fields can stay dry through today’s steady, light rain. Can anyone send some sun our way before 2:00 pm?
They certainly chose a flattering photo of Lou.

Lou looks like he’s in the middle of his Jimmy Stewart impression.

Oops! Should read: “…think I heard it here first but…”

So, my question: was it?
No, it’s the Rumour’s rhythm section, Stephen Goulding and Andrew Bodnar.
HVB, I’m assigning some extra reading for you this weekend!

Jesus, that XTC clip is awful. Who thought that was clever?

I’m crushed, hrrundi. Next thing you’re going to tell me ZZ Top’s livestock tour was done with the help of a taxidermist.
