I agree, but I'm saying that it's hard to fault the parent for trying something to block out or otherwise alter the experience.

I'm sure you've heard of recent allegations that The Boss had been sleeping with a Jersey mom and wife of some investment guy, right? I forgot that The Boss had previously been accused of sleeping with a woman he met through a 9/11 fundraiser. Whether any of these allegations are true or not, it's kind of funny that the sexual scenarios involving The Boss end up reading like scenes from Dennis Leary's Rescue Me.
