How was it? 0 High Five Mr. Moderator says: 04/01/2014 at 7:46 am I was there, al, and without being too full of myself I can attest that it was AWESOME. The room was full. The Donuts were Austin City Limits tight and poised. The sound was excellent. My perspective shifted during the Head’s set, but it felt really good during our time on stage as well. We played with the right mix of energy and precision. We were connected to each other and to the crowd. Really fun night, even better than a day at the office! 0 High Five cdm says: 04/01/2014 at 10:02 am Great night. Both bands played really well, the sound was excellent and the crowd was great. Tough to pick a winner. It was probably a tie musically, so it really came down to whether you preferred the Head’s exquisite sartorial choices or my fantastic porn ‘stache. No video of the Donuts but here’s some Nixon’s Head head for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGXel_m4Wfs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiKFfycSy94 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow3pawtSIPs 0 High Five diskojoe says: 04/01/2014 at 10:51 am I was just wondering if HVB has seen the latest issue of MOJO that has hit our shores that contians an interview w/Prince. 0 High Five hrrundivbakshi says: 04/01/2014 at 11:03 am I have not. Is it juicy? 0 High Five cdm says: 04/01/2014 at 4:16 pm While we’re on the subject of HVB’s Holy Trinity, I was shocked to discover that the Rev. Bill Gibbons had a Les Paul hollowed out because it was too heavy and his strings are 7’s. I can’t argue with the sound he gets but this feels like he perpetrating some kind of fraud on the unsuspecting public. http://www.premierguitar.com/articles/Rig_Rundown_Billy_F_Gibbons_ZZ_Top 0 High Five cherguevarra says: 04/02/2014 at 10:36 pm Earliest known interview with David Lee Roth?
