Who knows where the time goes? In this week’s edition of Saturday Night Shut-In Mr. Moderator experiences an unexpected attack of early ’90s nostalgia. Join him, won’t you, on this journey through a palette-cleansing decade that may not have set the stage for much but wasn’t bad while it lasted.

Great show, Mod. And for the first time in eons, I knew many of the songs/bands. I just about dropped my plate of cookies when I realized you were playing Flying Lotus. Check out “Cosmogramma” which is really fun and includes samples of 70’s r and b.

Mr. Royale was just telling me about “Rocket Juice and the Moon.” Tony Allen is from Fela Kuti’s band. He also played with Damon Albarn and Paul Simonon as part of “The Good, The Bad, and The Queen.”
