I never did subscribe to that magazine, but I have several Hot Wacks books. I remember the first one I ever saw, at a record convention. A dealer pulled it out when I asked him how some bootleg sounded. I couldn’t believe there was a book like that! I think the guys that put that out were the guys behind K&S Records and some other Canadian labels. I have a couple of my track listings, sources and super short reviews in those books.
