The RTH Elders may recall that we joined together last year, LIVE during the Super Bowl Halftime to communally comment on Prince’s performance.
Let’s do it again. Only 4 more days. The waiting is the hardest part.
Is there any truth to the rumor that Paula Abdul will be performing at halftime as well as Tom Petty? If so, what are the odds of MC Skat Kat (isn’t that his name?) joining her?
She’ll probably be performing during the pre-game stuff, they usually have a lesser act or two during all that business. Especially these last few years, when they have some extra time to kill, because the Patriots had to go and ruin the part where the starters get individual introductions before the game.
I wouldn’t count on an MC Skat Kat appearance, he’s been pretty reclusive since he converted and currently goes by MC Skat Izlam anyway.
For what it’s worth, I heard that Willie Nelson will also be part of the pre-game show.

I saw a commercial that I think was either for the Superbowl pre-hype show, or the halftime show. Saw it very quickly and wasn’t paying close attention. It was promoting Paula Abdul’s new song, and ex-fat Randy was playing the bass and doing this really awkward half dance/half epileptic seizure and looking at her like “yeah dogg, we’re so jamming this new groove” I’m really looking forward to seeing the whole thing.
