That’s two and a half hours of my life I’ll never get back…and still no regrets.
I haven’t had that much fun listening to two guys with Philly accents talk about the minutia of rock music since the Kenn Kweder interview on the same podcast a few months ago.
Seriously, I was away from Philly for about 15 years or so and I’m still trying to piece together the scene that i missed while wandering around the country. Things like this podcast, Rock Town Hall, Dummytown, and the “fictional” book Broad Street really help to fill in the gaps.
More Philly rock lore with Mick Cancer of The Sic Kidz/Pink Slip Daddy in F2K Ep. 21. Really enjoyed catching up with Jim, but he later called me in the middle of the night, desperate for me to cut out his comment on David Dye’s hair. I stuck to my journalistic guns…
