Who are the worst dancers in rock ‘n roll? I think we can agree that Bruce makes the list of rockers who shouldn’t have been caught dancing.

  1. The biggest career-killing music video in history by Billy Squier:

It reminds me of Elaine from Seinfeld dancing at that party in that episode. My goodness, I forgot all the garbage in this one: pole dancing, air microphone, shirt ripping – and that’s all in the first 2 minutes, 15 seconds! That’s as long as I lasted.

Sorry townsfolk, I couldn’t even take one for the team here.

  2. Bruce? But didn’t Dave Marsh (or someone like him) tell us that Da Boss was “our greatest rock & roll dancer”? BWAAAHAAHAAHAA!!!

Steve, I don’t think JR’s THAT bad a dancer in that clip, esp. considering that it’s a bit of a tongue in cheek performance.

Squier looks like he’s auditioning for a high school production of FLASHDANCE. Then again, Billy’s dancing is among the least of his crimes. He first needs to be held accountable for all his horrible music.

None of them have this rock & roll animal’s moves, that’s for sure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJ8Cm3YmJyk
    (…..or his body double’s.)

Really, unless it’s a choreographed part of the act, like Motown vocal groups and such, or your name is James Brown or Prince, MOST “rockers” are pretty bad. Iggy just throws himself all over the place. Jagger usually looks pretty ridiculous as a dancer. (that doesn’t mean that they aren’t compelling frontmen, but it’s not because of their intrinsic hoofing abilities)….in fact, it would make more sense to ask who really CAN dance – it’s a much shorter list.
